"Game of Thrones" lidera Emmy Awards 2015 com 24 indicações

A série "Game of Thrones" liderou as indicações do 67º Emmy Awards, em anúncio feito pelo canal Fox nesta quinta-feira (16). A cerimônia foi apresentada por Uzo Aduba, da série "Orange is the New Black", e Cat Deeley, do programa "So You Think You Can Dance". "GOT" foi indicada em 24 categorias, incluindo na de Melhor Série Dramática. As séries "Orange is the New Black", "House of Cards", "Homeland" e "Downton Abbey" também foram indicadas na mesma categoria. "Game of Thrones" nunca venceu uma categoria principal no Emmy, levando a melhor principalmente em quesitos técnicos. Em 2011, o ator Peter Dinklage ganhou a estaueta do Emmy como Melhor Ator Coadjuvante pelo personagem Tyrion Lannister. A minissérie "Olive Kitteridge", também do canal HBO, e "American Horror Story: Freak Show", do FX, foram indicadas a 19 e 13 categorias, respectivamente. Outra série que pode fazer história no Emmy é "Modern Family", cinco vezes ganhadora do prêmio de melhor série cômica e novamente indicada este ano. Se vencer, a série protagonizada pela colombiana Sofia Vergara bateria o recorde de "Frasier". Já pelo troféu de melhor comédia concorrem ainda "Louie", "Parks and Recreation", "Silicon Valley", "Transparent", "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" e "Veep". A surpresa da apresentação dos indicados deste ano ficou por conta da atriz Uzo Aduba e da apresentadora Cat Deeley, que foram indicadas ao vivo nas categorias de melhor atriz coadjuvante de série dramática e melhor apresentadora de competição de reality show. A cerimônia da 67ª edição dos Emmy se realizará em 20 de setembro no teatro Microsoft (Los Angeles) e será apresentada pelo comediante Andy Samberg, ganhador do Globo de Ouro ano passado de melhor ator de comédia ou musical em televisão por seu trabalho em "Brooklyn Nine-Nine".
